BMHA appoints Timothy L. Butler as new Executive Director
The Board of Commissioners recently conducted a nationwide search for a new Executive Director using a well-known Housing Authority search firm in Florida. With the second slate of candidates, the Board has hired Timothy L. Butler to be the new Executive Director.
Mr. Butler’s appointment follows the upcoming retirement of long-serving Executive Director Ben Jones, who has led BMHA through years of growth and transformation. Mr. Jones, a trusted and respected leader in the affordable housing industry, will retire later this year after more than 30 years of service with the agency.
Mr. Butler starts on August 25, 2025.
